Grandpa's Star (Name A Nameless Star)

1:22 PM

I remember the first time I had ever heard that it was now possible to name your very own star. I was in my late teens and the thought that you could buy a star blew my mind. How was this possible? Apparently majority of the stars in our beautiful night sky are so vast that many of them remain unnamed. Those poor lonely unnamed stars.

Now we have the wonderful opportunity to register those unnamed stars and name them anything we want just by filling out a small online form and Star Register will take care of the rest of the process. What a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.

I recently lost a loved one. He was a father figure to me for most my life and his passing left a whole in my heart and in many lives. The thought of putting his name on a bright Supernova star for all of his children and grandchildren to look up to is profound and comforting. That they could find Grandpa's Star in the night sky, and in a way be able to have another connection to him even though he is gone, is beautiful in more than one way.

I also love that Star Registry has a Twin Star Package perfect for lovers! Oooh la la! I can't think of anything more romantic than two stars side by side lighting up the night, burning for each other into eternity.

When you buy a star at Star Register you don't just get the knowledge that there is some star up there somewhere named after you or someone you love, you get an entire package full of stuff. The package includes an official certificate, star map with detailed coordinates of your star, photo book, and software  detailing the most beautiful aspects of space. You can also search for your star anytime in the official registry of stars. I also like that Star Register makes sure your star is visible from anywhere in the United States.

A lot of people are hard to shop for and it can even be more difficult to find something meaningful that will actually last. Things break, and are forgotten but a Star will stand the test of time and space.  Im so excited that this is now possible, for regular people to have access to. Its quick and easy with a lasting impression... on our universe and our hearts.
