This is one of the best twenty buck DIY project I ever invested in, in years with my two rowdy boys! I am now a huge advocate for tree swings if you have children and a good sturdy tree branch to go with it. They spend "hours" on this baby now everyday. And it's been about a month since we put this up and they are still loving it! My boys have made up all these super fun swing styles named after jungle things like The Tarzan, The Monsoon, and The Monkey. It's so fun to watch them come up with this stuff.
Anyways, these are so easy to make. We bought our circular piece of wood pre cut and sanded at The home depot for less than $10, same with the twenty feet of rope we got as well. We didn't spend anything on paint because we just used what we had, which was black and white.
To put this together my husband used a wide drill bit for the hole in the middle. We then painted it up and then hung it on a sturdy branch! In all this only took us about three hours to make plus letting the paint dry overnight.

I have never been more emotionally ready for warmer weather! This week in Utah I swear we experienced all four seasons in the past two weeks and I am over the tease. Enough already! While also looking forward to Spring and Summer I am also looking forward to breaking out my lonely boxed up sandals and can't wait to wear a bit more color in my wardrobe. I am just loving all the fun new trends this year. Between the Tribal prints, ombre everything and all the beautiful turquoise and other bright colors... Im sold!
I was inspired to put my new summer look together because my new pair of turquoise earrings I just got! Woot Woot! (Thanks Magical Jewelry)This is definitely what I'll be wearing this summer! So excited! It's so hard to find modest outfit ideas for summer, thats what makes this look so great. Im loving the brown leather, gray, and turquoise combo to!

This is such a quick and easy meal for the whole family that is great not only any time of the year but is great for lunch or dinner as well. My favorite version of this sandwich is actually sever at a small town restaurant in Torrey Utah called Red Cliffs. But since we moved two years ago I have been on my own and have to make it myself.
(Serves 6)
Need:
five to six large pieces of cubed chicken breast
2 8oz cans of green chillies diced and drained
six Slices swiss cheese
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Blackening seasoning (or seasoned salt)
six hoagie buns
Butter or margarine
1. In a large skillet sauté chicken in olive oil on medium heat. Once chicken is cooked through add blackening seasoning and the drained diced chilies to chicken. Salt and pepper to taste and set to low.
2. While chicken is on low, now is a great time to toast your hoagie buns in another skillet. Cut hoagie lengthwise and Just spread on the butter on both of the insides. Place buttered sides down to toast on medium heat for about 2 to 4 minutes each. The toasted buttered buns make a huge difference in this sandwich so don't skip it!
3. Serve it hot by adding your swiss cheese and chicken mixture to the bun and eat up!
