Ever since I ate Carbonara at The Cheesecake Factory I have been in love with this bacon lovers dish. This is a super creammy and hearty recipe full of the things that make carbonara so great.
1/2 pint of whipping cream
1/2 cup of Parmsean cheese
1/2 T. garlic powder
1 T. italian seasonsing
1/2 c. of melted butter
1- 16 oz package of spaggehtti noodles
1 lbs of regular bacon (un-cooked)
1 cup of frozen peas unthawed
1 7oz can of mushrooms (drained)
1. Fry bacon untill fully cooked while boiling spaghetti noodles till tender.
2. Mix eggs, whipping cream, cheese, garlic powder, butter and melted butter in a large bowl with a fork for one to two minutes.
3. Crumble bacon into large pieces then drain water out of noodles. Next and add peas, mushrooms and bacon to spaghetti in boiling pot. Reduce heat to low. Slowly add in sauce mixture and stir over low heat for about two minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
