  10. My husband made me a Mexican food feast on our favorite day. We never go to restaurants on the day-- to busy, poor service, food mediocre, but love dinner at home to celebrate.

  18. I don't really have a fav Valentine Memory. My hubby and I are pretty boring and don't believe in spending the $ on flowers for VDAY. LOL:) He will usually get me chocolates though and we have a quiet night at home. We will probably go to dinner later that week:)

  20. our very first valentines day I made my husband a meal with a beautiful meringue pie with a heart browned perfectly on the top. (I don't cook so this was a very big deal...15 years later I have only cooked him 2 other meals!). I put sparklers on it and my husband wouldn't touch it. He thinks sparklers are gross. I was so mad I scraped the meringue off the top and made him eat it!!! We laugh so hard about the valentines day now!

  77. The first Valentines day my husband (then new boyfriend) shared, he "attempted" to make me dinner. He got salad out of the bag, and made this terribly dry stale pasta and bread. He forgot salad dressing, left the pricetag on the roses and made his best friend be our waiter. It was the most adorable, pathetic display I'd ever seen. I knew then that he was a keeper.
